I bought a total of 6 of these for my show truck and powered by two Alpine MRP M2000 amps they hit 149.9 dbs at the first comp I ever entered without being tuned or even being built for stereo comp. My truck sounds very clean with the 4 pairs of Alpine type r 6.5" components also. I will say...dont try and run these type r subs in a sealed box.. My first stereo was ran by a pdx 1000 and it really didnt sound half as good as the new ported box.. check out my pix of these monsters installed in my show winning truck!

Bought this for my son's truck for his birthday. It arrived quickly and works great! He was very pleased! Installation took no time at all and he usually has it turned up so high that the house vibrates. Very good buy!

When I finally purchased these bad boys I knew complete satisfaction is what I paid for! These woofers weigh 28 lbs with a monster chrome magnet that look and feel freakin awesome! These things freakin rock! They vibrate my Trailblazer big time setting off alarms with ease and I'm always getting compliments from peeps I know and hating eyes from those I dont because of the bass knockin!
I would definately recommend these woofers to anyone who wants some serious bass boom and not have to worry about blowing them out! I have a 2200 watt Power Acoustik Gothic Series Amp bridged pushing 900 watt RMS to both woofers but still thinking to purchase another one to seperate the woofers and run them off seperate amps for more power. I have no regrets on my purchase of these quality Alpine SWR 1243D Woofers.
